About the artists
Carmem Gusmao, born in Minas Gerais, grew up in Belém do Pará, in the Amazon. He
r artwork is present in several museums and art galleries around the world. Her impressionistic, abstract style received a strong influence from the native Indians’ culture, from the clay, and waters running along the banks, changing into the burnt siena of the many Amazonic hues - the birthplace of her inspiration. Her art also reflects the Minas Gerais baroque art, Latin, litanies, psychology, and philosophy. She currently lives and works in Florida.
Rose Lobo was born in Rio during Carnival, on a Fat Tuesday, and her family is from Bahia. Her art is symbolic, interactive and decorative. Using cotton, or any other materials found along the way, this choreographer, scenographer and ballerina imprints her colors, dynamism and movements on life’s runways.

Ricado Koebsch has been living and working in France as an artist since 1988. He uses various techniques to integrate the past and present, including techniques of prominent 18th century artists that are perfectly suited for modern artistic expression.
